Here’s a recent lecture by Vishwanathan Anand on the use of memory in chess and it’s good to see prominent players discussing the some of the skills involved in chess rather than the usual boring fare about Elo ratings etc. Of course for those interested in this area there are scientific sources which go more deeply and clearly into these matters, for example this article on The Expert Mind.
