Inspiration From Seirawan

Yasser Seirawan is an interesting player for SOME amateurs to take as a model because of his preference for logical openings which nevertheless aren’t highly theoretical. Recently he’s been playing again which shows that older players can be competitive. He also gave an interesting interview which you can read here.

Here’s a recent game from a tournament in Barcelona in which he finished second.
