A New Magazine for Juniors

British Chess Magazine recently announced the launch of Junior British Chess Magazine, its new bi-monthly on-line magazine for younger chess players and everyone involved in teaching chess. Edited by David Levens, JBCM comes in a digital-only format, and looks like it will have content suitable for beginners, improvers and intermediate players.

I’ve had a look at the first October issue and it’s nice to see a magazine aimed at the junior chess community that will hopefully help young players to improve, keep them updated on junior chess news, and inspire continued commitment to chess. I think it is also going to be a useful resource for coaches and parents to have a broader perspective of what is going on across the country. I welcome JBCM and wish it every success.

JBCM is available on Apple and Android apps and on other digital platforms such as Amazon’s Kindle Fire, Google Play, BlackBerry, Windows 8 and online on digital magazine newsstand www.pocketmags.com
