Master Game: Schmid – Browne

Continuing my resurrection of this great series this is one that I missed at the time. Maybe I had a chess match on or something!

Here’s the second part with Browne getting brilliantly outplayed in the endgame (knights have particular trouble coping with passed rooks pawns). I like the guest appearance of Sir Stuart Milner-Barry to present the prizes. Did Schmid really accept Browne’s proposal to play for everything in one 5 minute game? Maybe…
